Does this work with vMix only?
Yes — it's designed specifically for vMix using the built-in TCP "TALLY SUBSCRIBE" protocol. No other software is needed.
Do I need to install anything on my computer?
Nope. Just enter your vMix IP and input number in the setup page — it connects directly over your local network.
How do I reset the Wi-Fi settings?
Unplug the device, wait one second, and plug it back in twice in a row. The LED will blink orange, and setup mode will start again.
What do the LED colors mean?
Red = Program (live) Yellow = Preview Off = Inactive Green blink = Connected Blue pulse = Setup mode Orange blink = Reset triggered
Can I change the input number later?
Yes — just go to the device’s local web page (e.g. http://tallylight-1.local) and update the input number and vMix IP.
How is this powered?
Any standard USB port or USB power adapter works — even a USB battery pack.
Will it reconnect after a power outage?
Yes — it remembers your Wi-Fi and vMix IP and reconnects automatically within seconds.
Can I use more than one tally light?
Absolutely! You can set up multiple devices — each one can monitor a different input, and each has its own device name.
